Before you make any decisions, consider the goal of your shoot and keep in mind that longer shoots inevitably yield better results. Given more time in front of the camera, subjects continually loosen up as time goes on, the shoot becomes less stressful without a sense of urgency to check all the boxes, and having exponentially more options to choose from sets a much higher standard for the final selections.
In order to best bring your vision to life, I ask to discuss ideas with all clients before the day of the shoot, so that we approach it with at least a loose plan and a vague idea of how the final images will turn out.
